We are considering two options: taking both the mother ewes and their lambs to the grass keep and worming them after a week, or keeping them at the farmhouse and weaning the lambs here while sending the ewes to the grass keep.
The problem is that the grass keep has a history of fluke worms, which killed three lambs last year. We cannot vaccinate the lambs against fluke in advance; they must be exposed before we can treat them. The owner of the grass keep is very old and is not treating the land for fluke worms.
