I had never been to the races before, so this event felt like both a discovery and an adventure. We got there just after midday and bought our tickets at the gate. Charlie told me the Kelso races were special, and as the day went on, I learned why. Now, I want to share what I noticed with you.
The horse and jockeys looked great in my photos today. I used my Panasonic DC-FZ82, which I recommend if you want a budget camera with a 1200mm zoom. My only complaints are the low pixel count and the settings, which can be a bit confusing.
We lost every bet except one, but the weather stayed good as we made my way through the busy day. We enjoyed ourselves and made it a special occasion. Until next year, Kelso races.
