Tyred

Charlie travelled to Kelso to collect our new fitted tyre, returning to Woodburn the new tyre hit a screw end protruding from inside the trailer and punctured, before the wheel could be fitted onto the tractor.

Luckly for Charlie his work had a repair kit, but I could tell he was damaged by the futility of it. The tyre was over £300, and to pay for it we have scrimped on cash this week.

I enjoy a lambs welcome, I know where I am with animals and they show me my worth; they can't be coerced to hate me in the same way people are coerced into hatred.

I'd say people are a lost cause, but I no longer know them as people. This evening I am resting by an open log fire as I type this paragraph; in between cooking roast dinner.
