Bowden
We have cleared Nether Whitlaw of sheep, returning the flock to the farmhouse poly tunnel. Today we transported another nine sheep from Bowden, there is only four left now to transport from this grass keep before the tenancy finished on the 28th.
Fungi
Early afternoon we drove along the Roberton to Ashkirk road.
Coach and Horses
Pheasants and Jackdaws gather in the farm yard and peck at spilt chaff.
Autumn Leaves
Charlie finished building the paddock perimeter fence, in worry of the Herdwick ewe and lamb jumping the stone wall.
Sunset Woodburn
Strange fungus growing on the farmhouse paddock, I am not aware of the name, but the sheep on the paddock sure seem to keep their distance from it.
Replacement phone
Been very active this month, and slipped the desire to post pictures I've noticed about my life. My health has been OK, however I still have pains in my stomach, and not yet received results from a test to detect Helicobacter pylori antigen.
Driveway
Charlie fetched the JCB to scrape the farmhouse driveway from a yearly landslide of mud.
Poly tunnel
Charlie laid a bail of straw to prepare the poly tunnel for the winter return of our flock.
Decorating
Today I began decorating one of four bedrooms at Woodburn Farmhouse.
Lime
Today Charlie disinfected the poly tunnel with lime; he wore an improvised mask which concerned me greatly.
Hay and Chaff
Watched Charlie return to Woodburn Farm towing a trailer loaded with chaff and hay.
