Its taking a while to realise I now have a home, after decades of homelessness. A warm, safe place to rest my head, a sanctuary whilst awake and asleep. What is contentment, does satisfaction exist?
In need of exercise I took my mountain bike around the path of the North East side of Ancrum, following Ale Water north.
Today I travelled to Jedburgh on the bus, the journey cost £5.20 return. I received my B12 injection at Jedburgh Medical Practice.
It's been almost a fortnight since I moved to the Scottish Borders village of Ancrum; and found I very much like living here.
Took some time off decorating my bungalow to walk about and explore the surrounding area of my new village.
Today. having signed a Secure Tenancy Agreement I am no longer homeless, for the first day in very long, traumatising, and at times life threatening twenty years.
