Poly tunnel

Charlie laid a bail of straw to prepare the poly tunnel for the winter return of our flock.

Hospitality for sheep, they've been out in the fields all summer.

We to bring the flock down from the paddock we feed the them on the drive.

But almost always there is one that refuses to come down.

The flock is ushered into the poly tunnel where more food awaits them.

Our trailer is multi-purpose in that the bolted top is removable.

All the flock is herded towards the trailer, then divided into who is staying and going; it's easier and less time consuming that way.

Arrived at grass keep.

Our flock at grass keep near Selkirk are in good condition.

We travelled to another grass keep near the village of Bowden and penned five sheep.

Time to drench worm these ewes!

It's important to give up rather than chase the sheep down too much as this makes them impossible to handle anyway.
