This year we have only forty sheep, our lowest winter flock so far; we may even let some gimmers and a few ewes in lamb go in the coming weeks.
I'm enjoy conversation, so do feel free to comment on these diary entries. Charlie returned from feeding coos, with a trailer full of grain and a bale of hay.
We have about one and a half tonne of gain in the hopper, enough to last the winter. It's calming being with the gimmers, although when the ewes in lamb return that'll change.
