Longtown

We loaded our trailer with three gimmers and a wether then drove to Longtown.

We wasn't expecting to find a wether, we thought we had sold them. Wether's, a castrated male lamb, don't behaviour the same as tups, and blend in with gimmers.

Ears were huge on these Border Leicesters, they look like rabbits!

The four sheep sold for around £370, we visited Gretna Green retail park then enjoyed a light lunch at the toll house. A7 accident forced a lengthy diversion through Eskdalemuir.
