I'm relaxing at the farmhouse; after yesterdays mayhem, I need quiet day without worry.
Incinerator has been smoking all night.
In the farmhouse kitchen garden our Beetroot and Onions are growing nicely.
Thankfully there is not much weeding to do here this weekend. Excited to discover our beans have reached the top of the canes props.
Potatoes have sprung up wonderfully, and the area we left to seed is more or less harvested. I have planned to have a spinach and herb raised garden in the area.
Tractor problems have stalled mucking out the ploy tunnel.
Thought I'd take some pictures of our farmhouse front garden.
Charlie has found newts in our garden pond, second year running.
I'm enjoying sharing my interests via teaching Charlie how to use my bridge camera. This is one of his first photographs, I think he has an eye for photography.
I've taken a few pictures from inside the farmhouse windows, including the rabbit image.
Charlie believes the birds are after the water strider's in the pond.
Smaller birds are about the farmhouse garden now Jackdaws and Rooks have gone.
Who said rabbits were nocturnal?
During the afternoon we returned to the Craik to try and repair our tractor.
I left them to it, walked around the forest taking photographs with my bridge camera.
Returned to find they'd smashed the big end through the engine block, so dangerous.
How does something such as this happen, suddenly, from the tractor working OK. Our two cade lambs are still struggling with worms, this year had been awful for them.
