Easter

This morning, Charlie woke me with a gift of an Easter egg. Today we sussed that the powered lamb milk power was tainted, we have already seen a vast improvement in their health from opening and feeding them from a fresh bag.

A day out at Eyemouth, we drove swiftly through the Scottish Borders manse.

We drove past Clan Home Castle, found shutters closed, as if they were fearing the clear light of day. This building is located on the eastern side of the Manse.

An Eyemouth Selkie waiting for fish supper.

Towards midday we departed from Woodburn for a day trip to Eyemouth; passing through Earlsdon, Gordon, Greenback, Duns, the journey from Roberton to Eyemouth took about an hour and a half; briefly stopping to pick up a sandwich lunch.

Selkie lurks, risen from the depths of a murky Eyemouth harbour.

We enjoyed a cooked meal inside a pokey cafe along Eyemouth Harbour side, and whilst travelling back to Roberton we enjoyed a pint in a small village named Gordon.

We took Sam over the burn and into the woods for a run around. In this life, animals have been more humane to me than people.
