During the morning I populated this website with two months worth of diary entries; taking over content from my old 6gb large, static website is a big job.
Early afternoon Charlie drove me to Alemoor reservoir to alleviate cabin fever. Here I scanned the banks, unsuccessfully searched for a heron to photograph.
Alemoor seems to never change, every time I come here the scene appears the same; its possibly the least photogenic spot in the Scottish Borders, so OK as a backdrop.
However I did not leave empty handed.
During bonfire night idiots come to mirror fireworks over this clear water, potentially polluting this drinking supply with toxic chemicals such as chlorate and barium.
We stopped on a bridge, took an east and west picture before leaving, We stopped at the far west side of Alemoor to snap another photograph. Wild flowers were pretty.
Charlie drove to Tushielaw, we noticed the creepy pub was closed as we drove toward Ashkirk, and onto Denholm via Appletreehall; where coos were waiting to be fed.
The journey back through the Borthwick valley was strange, two cars opposite stopped and looked alarmed, I could not fathom the concern. At Woodburn the sheep waited.
Tonight we returned to Ancrum, I have been feeling unwell today with horrendous stomach cramps, if I find any more blood in my stool I am going to dial 111.
